Titan Quest 2 Early Access roadmap
Titan Quest II gets major content updates roughly every three months during Early Access, with smaller updates in between that can add or rework mechanics. At least six masteries are expected by the 1.0 release, targeted for the end of 2026.

The published cadence
THQ Nordic state that major content updates are planned roughly every three months, and that the smaller updates between them may introduce new gameplay mechanics, improve on old ones, or completely revamp present mechanics.
That last clause is the one worth reading twice. A revamp of an existing mechanic changes numbers that builds already depend on, and those changes do not always appear in the patch notes.
Masteries are still being added
On the mastery count, the FAQ is explicit that nothing is locked: they have not nailed down a final number for 1.0 and currently think there will be at least six. Any tier list or "best class" ranking written today is therefore a ranking of an incomplete roster.
How this site tracks it
Every game build is extracted and compared field by field against the previous one. The differences become the patch pages, which is how a silently changed cooldown or a re-tuned affix range becomes visible without waiting for anyone to write it up.
