What has actually been confirmed

THQ Nordic put a date on 1.0 in their Early Access FAQ, and the wording is a target rather than a commitment: "Right now we are targeting End of 2026 for the 1.0 release of Titan Quest II." No day or month inside that window has been named.

The console question is settled more firmly. The same FAQ states that Titan Quest II is going to be released on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S|X with the 1.0 release of the game. That rules out an early-access console build, which is the thing most of the "titan quest 2 ps5 release date" searches are really asking.

The Early Access window has already run longer than planned

The Steam store page set expectations of roughly one year in Early Access when the game launched on 1 August 2025. That year is up, and 1.0 is still targeted for the end of 2026 — so the window has stretched by several months.

This matters if you are deciding whether to buy now or wait: the game is being actively developed on a published cadence, but the finish line has moved once already. Treat "end of 2026" as the current best estimate rather than a fixed date.
