Titan Quest 2 classes
Class data is published from the game files once an extraction has run.
No class names yet
This site is built entirely from Titan Quest II’s own game files. Nothing is published until an extraction has run, because a database that guesses is worse than one that is empty. See how this data is produced.
Titan Quest 2 has no fixed class list. In the game's own words: "Form your own class by combining two masteries. Build your character around the strengths and weakness of both masteries, exploring different combinations of skill modifiers, attributes, and items to create your own hybrid class and find your favorite playstyle." Pick two masteries and the pairing has a name — that name is the class, and each one has a page here listing every skill both masteries provide.
How classes are formed
A character takes one mastery and later a second. The pair defines the class, and the number of classes is therefore fixed by the number of masteries: every unique pair of the available masteries is one class.
Because the mastery roster is still growing during Early Access — THQ Nordic expect at least six by 1.0 but have not fixed the number — the class list grows with it. Any class list written today is a list of an incomplete game.
Class names, not mastery pairs
Each class page lives under its in-game name rather than under a pair of mastery slugs, because that is how the game and its players refer to them. The mastery-pair URL redirects to the named page, so the two can never split the same information between two addresses.
What a class page gives you
- Every skill from both masteries in one list.
- The order they unlock in, computed from the mastery-bar requirement in the game files.
- A link from each skill to its full per-rank table.
- A route straight into the build planner with that pairing selected.
Which class is best?
That question does not have an honest answer yet. No damage simulation has been run against real encounters, the mastery roster is still incomplete during Early Access, and THQ Nordic have said smaller updates may "completely revamp present mechanics". A tier list published under those conditions is a guess wearing a letter grade.
The class comparison page ranks pairings on things that can actually be measured from the data — skill count, damage-type coverage, and how early the active kit unlocks — and states which metric it is sorting by rather than presenting a verdict.
Frequently asked
- How many classes are in Titan Quest 2?
- One for every unique pair of masteries. The number grows as masteries are added during Early Access.
- Can you have three masteries in Titan Quest 2?
- The game describes forming a class by combining two masteries. This site publishes every two-mastery pairing the files define.
- What is the best class in Titan Quest 2?
- No defensible answer exists during Early Access with an incomplete mastery roster and mechanics that the developers say may be completely revamped between updates. The class comparison page compares measurable properties instead.
